I often talk to our students about opportunity. This is just one of our many opportunities to get involved in extra curricular activity. Come & meet new people, do something you enjoy or push yourself beyond your comfort zone. Thank you PE team for making this possible #weareEDA

Congratulations to Martha and George Hill in Ascot 7 who both represented their club, Birchfield Harriers at the Youth Development league in Coventry at the weekend. Martha won her U13 75m and came 3rd in Javelin with George winning his group in shot putt.
A special EDA thanks to Lisa from the Staffordshire Road Safety Team who spent the morning educating our new Year 7s on how to stay safe transporting to and from school and moving around in the local community.
Lovely to welcome back Years 10, 11 and 13 today. I know this is a big year for Year 11 and 13 but if today is anything to go by, they are up for any challenge that is presented to them. Our students are not just ready, they are EDA ready and together we will smash it #weareEDA
Incredibly pleased to welcome our Year 7 and 12 scholars today. All admin sorted quickly and straight into learning. Scholars were uber respectful and looked uber smart. Very impressed indeed #weareEDA #proudtobeEDA
Our return to school plans are available on our website. We have staggered our return dates to meet the government testing request. Looking forward to seeing our amazing scholars as the week progresses

The vaccination Centre at the Roman Way Hotel (Watling Street, Cannock WS11 1SH) is offering walk-in Pfizer vaccinations to 16 and overs. No appointment necessary.The clinics are running next Sunday:
-Sunday 22 August 9 am – 2 pm
-Sunday 22 August 3 pm – 8 pm

You will read and hear lots about grade inflation this year. Don't listen to a single word as it's a meaningless and nonsense comparison. The results you have achieved were earned by hard work, determination and desire to succeed and we are so proud of you

Tomorrow we celebrate the successes of our Year 11 students at GCSE results day. Results will be available from 9.00am - 11.30am from the sports hall. Please test before hand. Looking forward to seeing lots of big smiles and happy faces #weareEDA
