And congratulations also to Team 2 made up of Mollie-Bea, Matilda, Katy, Catherine, Heather & Erin.
Congratulations goes to Team 1 consisting of James, Louis, Poppy, Mollie, Lauren & Ella.
Day 4 saw the winds die down and allow our Y13 Gold scholars to make it to the end of Loch Ness and the Great Glen. A fantastic experience in a truly amazing place.
Day 3 saw the winds turn against our DofE Gold scholars as they continued to make their way up Loch Ness. The north-easterly winds of Nessie eventually caused setting up camp to take place earlier than expected, but the campsite has once again provided some amazing views.
Possibly the most picturesque campsite a DofE trip could find. Tents pitched for the evening on the side of Loch Ness.
This afternoon our DofE Gold scholars made their way onto Loch Ness. Words can’t describe its vastness and how spectacular it looks.
Grey and drizzly start to day 2 with our scholars firstly making their way across Loch Oich. They will then pass through Fort Augustus before making their way onto Loch Ness this afternoon.
Year 9 scholar Holly Davies has been shortlisted for the Staffordshire Young Poet Laureate. The titles of her poems are:
1) The World Inside her Phone
Well done Holly, we are all very proud of you and can't wait for the result 📚🖋✒ #weareEDA #proudtobeEDA
