Progress and Target Setting
At Erasmus Darwin Academy we monitor student progress rigorously. The data we collect on students is analysed and evaluated at all levels of leadership. This data is also used to plan our teaching and learning next steps.

PROGRESS REPORTS
Progress reports are issued to parents following each data capture. The progress reports are designed to identify whether students are on track to achieve their end of year/key stage target. One of the progress reports each year will also be accompanied by a written academic summary produced by the student's form tutor who will highlight the student's successes along with areas for development and any other comments/information deemed pertinent to supporting their progress.
PARENT CONSULTATION EVENINGS
All students in all year groups have a designated afternoon/evening during the academic year whereby parents/carers can discuss their child's progress with their child's subject teachers. In addition to this, following each data capture for Y10-13, Academic Concern Evenings (ACE) are held with targeted students and families to provide additional support with addressing any concerns/barriers that might be limiting a child's progress and how it can be improved.
